Green Skimmer (Orthetrum sabina)

Binomial Name : Orthetrum sabina

Lives in lowland and submontane regions of Sri Lanka. They breed in perennial and seasonal ponds with slow running water. Males and females of this dragonfly can be seen some distance from breeding places.
